Culinary HYlight in May 2016
Our chef Ben Haselbeck has invented s a new version of the traditional stalk vegetable just in time for the asparagus season. He combines a light appetizer, followed by a main course imbued with Spanish flair and an exotic dessert variation in a three- course menu.
Asparagus soup, Sot-l´y-laisse, sugar schote , bear leek
Asparagus, pata negra, dandelion, hollandaise sauce
Asparagus, passion fruit, walnut, estragon
The price for the three3- course menu is €52.
We are dancing into the month of May with our four variations of the ‘“Beelitzer’” asparagus. Typical mesa, the fine dishes are inspired by the German cuisine. Also, the perfect combination for your next business lunch are the following tapas:
1. Creamy soup from “Beelitzer” asparagus with garden cress
2. Salad from “Beelitzer” asparagus with shallots, cherry tomatoes and chopped organic egg
3. “Beelitzer” asparagus with new potatoes, hollandaise sauce and Black Forest ham
4. Beef fillet slices, “Beelitzer” asparagus, sour cream and fresh herbs
You can find the German tapas on the menu at our mesa restaurant from 2 May 2016.
The German classic is also not missing from the menu of our international Tizian Lounge. Choose between a creamy asparagus soup or a traditional combination of “Beelitzer” asparagus with hollandaise sauce and new potatoes.
